It's been a long time since we've heard the news and renders about Motorola Razr's full-screen foldable phone. And we've waited a long time to hear any kind of gossip and rumors about it. And now it is here. A new report says we don't have to wait any longer as the nostalgic Moto Razr Fold might hit the US market 'VERY SOON'.
- Motorola's first folding phone name Moto Razr Fold expected to launch at December 2019 or January 2020
- Expected price is $15oo
- Will have a secondary small display
Moto Razr Fold will cost around $1500! Still cheaper than Samsung Galaxy Fold or Huawei Mate X! Probably will later this year or earlier the next year. Hope people will except the big come back.#moto #motorazr #motorazrfold @Moto @MotorolaUS pic.twitter.com/bfDPVcq8Re

In an article posted in LetsGoDigital claimed that they have some kind of verified information which they had got from an anonymous source likely to be from Motorola HQ. And the new report hinted the price of the phone. According to the source, the price will be a whopping $1500. But it will be far less than the expected price of the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X at $2,215 and $2,548 respectively.
Earlier this year, there was a lot of hype surrounding the foldable phone. Many big companies like Samsung, Huawei, ZTE crowded that hype. But due to some technical and durability issue, all of them quite from that hype. Motorola also announced that they will bring the Moto Razr foldable edition. But since then we only saw some budget smartphone from Motorola. And again the rumor grew up and the Moto Razr Fold is expected to launch by the end of this year by December 2019 or January 2020.
Though the price is too high, you shouldn't expect a high-end spec in this smartphone. The Moto Razr Fold is expected to be priced at $1500, still $400 more than today's flagship the Samsung Galaxy S10. We will likely to see a Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series processor. Not the 800 series! But when you compare it to the Samsung Galaxy Fold or Huawei Mate X, you'll likely to send $700-$1000 less. So I don't think this is a high price tag for this technology.
As the previous leak hinted that, this phone might have a 6.3-inch display. But what kind of display will use is still unknown. There will be another small display on the outside body of the phone. We might get Qualcomm 710 SoC processor and 4/6 GB of RAM. The battery will be sub 3000 mAh because of the less space on the phone. There will be either 64 GB or 128 GB of onboard storage on the phone.
Hopefully, we'll hear more in the coming months. Do you think the Moto Razr Fold's price is too expensive for a mid-range phone, even if it has a foldable display?
