A new feather is going to be added in the cap of the Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi. Redmi Note 8 series is awaiting to be released soon in Chine and Indian market. In a new leaked photo of Redmi’s new TV advertisement shows that a boy is holding a Redmi Note 8 while shooting. We can only see the backside of the handset. The Redmi Note 8 series will have a greenish gradient finish. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor also spotted on an odd section of the phone. Right under the camera, there is a physical fingerprint sensor. I am really afraid to say that this was not a good implementation by Redmi. People will certainly find it hard to find the sensor as it is right under the camera. In the past, we saw the same thing happened with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as people and phone reviewers found it too hard to find the fingerprint sensor.
According to this photo, we can see that it'll have a quad camera with a 64 MP main sensor. And the other two sensors might be a Wide-angle and a Zoom sensor. We don't know anything about the fourth camera configuration. As we can see the triple camera lies on the top-middle portion of the backside aligned in a vertical fashion and the fourth camera lies just under the flash. The camera position has moved to the top center. This is the first time we can see a real Redmi Note 8 phone.
- Both Redmi Note 8 base and Pro model will come with a quad-camera setup
- Both phones will likely to have a Dot dot notch display
- According to Redmi, this series will have a humongous 5000mAh battery
- Redmi's Note 8 series is said to sport 18W fast charging support
Redmi is yet to officially announce the release date of the Note 8 but the Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has already hinted something.
